We just wanted to tell you how much we loved this house. We have made friends among the neighbors here that we can never forget. Our family has loved living in our home in Cheyenne Crossings. While it is a quiet neighborhood, we have enjoyed daily walks with our dog a few blocks away at Beaver Creek Park, and we've made so many friends even at the park. The park has playground equipment, a lovely pond, complete with a fountain, and is stocked with fish.
You will discover that our home is cozy and warm, easy to clean, and has enough space for everyone. The windows on the back provide bright sunshine on cold winter days. The kids enjoy movies in the media room or games in the family room while the adults often visit and entertain in the living room. The bedrooms provide comfortable space to study. Now the kids are moving on to college, with the youngest daughter accepted at a top tier engineering school, so I guess the studying paid off.
On holidays, we've made lifelong memories with family pie and cookie baking at the over-sized granite topped island in the kitchen. The kitchen is the perfect size with plenty of counter space & storage and has plenty of room when all of the kids are in the kitchen with me baking cookies and making other sweet treats. At the same time, the kitchen dining area is the perfect place for a nice relaxing drink, while it looks out on the beautiful swimming pool. In the summer, we enjoy spending time with the kids in the pool, and grilling on the patio.
Did I mention that we are close to everything. Of course you will notice that many of your favorite restaurants are no more than 5 minutes away, and the same with convenient easy access to grocery shopping. This is a quiet neighborhood, but it is still close enough to the Tollway that we can drive a few blocks, jump on there to get anywhere in the DFW area in just a short time. The neighborhood is shared with the William and Abbey Allen Elementary school, and the Legacy Christian Academy and the kids living on both sides walk to those schools. Our daughter drove a few short blocks, her last 3 years, to Frisco High School.
We are already missing this home and all the amazing family experiences we have had here. The property is nice in every season of the year, but we especially enjoy the fall and spring, as well as the Christmas and New Year’s gatherings when it’s still warm enough, and all of our friends come out to greet each other!
